Pine Trails Park features many amenities such as barbecue grills, basketball courts, fishing, multiple fields and playgrounds, and walking trails. The Parkland Equestrian Center is the place to go for all things horseback riding related. Home to The Parkland Horseman’s Association, a nonprofit organization for horse enthusiasts, this center offers multiple shows and clinics.
Dog park
Barkland Dog Park, 9245 Ranch Rd
Barkland is the perfect place for your pets to play. Spanning a little over 2 acres, the park offers a slew of amenities made just for dogs like water fountains, picnic tables, and trails.
Parkland Day
Parkland Day celebrates the founding of Parkland complete with a parade, historical society exhibit, rides and games, business expo, and shows for residents to enjoy.
Movies in the Park
Movies in the Park is located at the Pine Trails Park Amphitheater. Residents are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs, enjoy a family-friendly movie, and have the opportunity to be a sponsor.
Farmers Market
The Parkland Farmers’ Market is offered on Sundays from November through April. Each week offers different expos/fairs. Customers can purchase fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers, baked goods and so much more. Gourmet foods are available, too.
